Today we will tell you how to draw Yoda from Star Wars. He is the smallest and at the same time the most powerful Jedi Knight.
Step 1
First, we outline the basic features of the Yoda figure. We see a very large head and very small stature. The growth of Yoda is equal to the total length of 3.2 goals. The head of our hero is larger than all other parts of the body.
You can also pay attention to a small stoop. To convey this, we need to draw the head slightly from the side relative to the chest. The neck should not be drawn at all.
Step 2
Now we will draw a conditional silhouette of Yoda. Turn the sticks from the last step to get the limbs from the round cylinders. These are only sample contours that will be hidden by the fabric. In the same step, we outline the facial lines that will help us find the vertical symmetry and location of the eyes. The line of the eyes should be very strongly shifted down.
Step 3

Step 4
So we begin the final detailing and move on to Yoda’s head. First, we draw almond-shaped eyes, a short flat nose and a mouth that looks like a wavy line. After that, we depict nasolabial folds and deep wrinkles that cover the entire forehead. Pay attention to the very low position of the eyes. At the end of this step, we outline the contours of the auricles.
Step 5
You might think that this will be a rather difficult step. In fact, here we will add some folds of fabric on the belt and shoulders. We will also add small claws to the lower legs of our mighty Jedi.
Step 6
In this step, we simply evaluate our entire drawing and look for errors and inaccuracies. If everything is in order, then we can erase the extra guide lines and go to the final step.
Step 7
In the final stage, we will apply shadows. Firstly we determine the light source, then we find the places that are hidden from it, then we draw the contours of the shaded areas and finally paint over it with a light, sweeping single-layer hatching.
